FIELD TECHNICIAN POLICY and CODE
The following are business objectives for achieving professionalism on the job.
You must follow these.

Don't discuss pay or other terms with on-site clients or other clients

Complaints go to Acumen PC Technology Project Manager (“PM”) and not the client or on-site client.

Keep all client information confidential.

Do not put yourself, Acumen PC Technology or Client in compromising positions. Do not bring anything to the site which may be deemed inappropriate.

Always be professional.
Appearance:
-
Business casual or work uniform apparel is the preferred attire.
-
Dress appropriately for the work environment; No jeans! No T-shirts! No baseball caps! No Tennis shoes!

On new construction site, work uniform apparel is preferred.

Personal hygiene is very important.
Communications:
-
Communicate with clients and on-site personnel professionally and respectfully.
-
Report any issues immediately to the Project Manager (“PM”).
-
Communicate arrival and departure times promptly per the work order requirements.
-
Always remember to present yourself as the client you are representing.
-
Maintain accurate information and feedback in the on-line Work Order system.
-
Understand the Work Order flow through the system.
-
Update and complete paperwork tasks on line or fax as soon as possible.
Attention to Details:
-
Clients provide written documentation and verbal instruction. Read Instructions before starting work; follow detailed step by step instructions precisely.

Verify that all aspects of the Work Order have been completed.

Have the ability to multi-task and use your time wisely when on-site.
-
Be able to use logical and deductive reasoning when troubleshooting equipment.
-
Be sure that all paperwork has been completed before leaving the site.
Time Management:

Client’s expectations for time when work will be done is very important. Be on time.

Call if you are going to be late.
-
Manage time on site for maximum efficiency.
-
Do not over book yourself. Leave enough time to stay on site in case you encounter any problems.
Customer Satisfaction:

It’s as easy as: “Treat others like you want to be treated”.

Handle stressful situations calmly and with respect. If you think a situation is not “manageable” call your Project Manager ( PM).
-
Remain calm, sympathize with the customer. Tell them “you understand”.. Let them vent!
Confidentiality:
-
Never discuss pay rates with the end user or other clients.
-
Customer instructions, schematics, and installation information are confidential customer information.
-
Other member’s circumstances are their personal information.
-
No Theft. Any theft will be reported to the police and you will be terminated.
-
Never take anything from the end-use site without getting permission first.
-
Do not use end user supplies and equipment without getting permission first.
