SERVICE
EVALUATIONS:
Our onsite service evaluation rates for
Residential and Businesses
are $65.00 for all computer
and printer projects for the first hour
on-site, and $32.50 per 1/2 hour there
after. Service evaluations are mainly for
install projects and large setup projects,
etc.

NON-WARRANTY REPAIRS
Repairs are billed at a rate
of $65.00 an hour for in-house repairs.
For On-Site repairs, installs and setups, a
flat rate of $65.00 will be billed for the
service call and first hour of service.
After the first hour, service will be billed
in 1/2 hour increments at a rate of $32.50.
*Hourly service rates do not
include the cost of parts, shipping costs,
travel fee or taxes. There is a travel
charge at a rate of 50 cents per mile
for a service call outside our service area.
Normally more than 32 miles from our
starting point of the technician. Mileage is
billed after the 32 mile mark.
WARRANTY REPAIRS
Warranty repairs are billed
at a flat rate of $0.00 per hour. Charge is
the price of labor. Parts are paid for by
the company supplying the parts. Software is
not covered under our warranties. Software
is volatile memory.

MANUFACTURER WARRANTY CLAIM:
Any repair service made or performed that is not
covered under warranty, including a diagnosis is the
responsibility of the customer and will be billed at
our current Evaluation rate. If a liquid spill
or any physical damage is found, this will
automatically Void the Manufacturer's Warranty and
will become billable. (This also includes
software issues, spyware and viruses.) Software
is not covered under any standard warranty.
DATA:
If a restore disk is used, all
data will be lost, as the unit will be returned
as-is from the manufacture. 'ACUMEN PC
TECHNOLOGY' will back up data only at the customer's
request
This Process can involve from 30 minutes to 6 hours
or more, depending on the amount of data and what is
required by the customer. Any 'ATTEMPT' to
recover data is billed at $65.00 Per hr. with a
minimum charge of 1 hour and no more than 3 hours
charge. The charge will be $65.00 flat fee
if the 'ATTEMPT'
is not successful.
THE CUSTOMER, should be aware
THAT IN NO EVENT SHALL 'ACUMEN PC TECHNOLOGY' BE
HELD LIABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES FOR ANY LOSS,
ALTERATION OR CORRUPTION OF ANY DATA OR LOSS OF ANY
MEDIA FOR SERVICES RENDERED. SOFTWARE IS VOLATILE MEMORY AND IS
NOT COVERED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.
UNCLAIMED EQUIPMENT:
'ACUMEN PC TECHNOLOGY'
will make every effort to contact the customer on
the day of completion.
Customers should be aware that
'ACUMEN PC TECHNOLOGY'
may dispose of equipment after 60 days of completion
if not claimed. Such disposal does not release
the customer from any outstanding balance owed for
services and/or equipment.
ACUMEN
PC TECHNOLOGY
WARRANTY:
At no additional charge,
Acumen PC Technology will correct any Hardware
related service issues which occur within 30 days of
the date of purchase or pickup, Provided that the
equipment is returned to Acumen PC Technology within
that Thirty (30) day period. Warrantees for
Refurbished Equipment vary, unless otherwise
Specified. Acumen PC Technology will Repair or
Replace Equipment, Provided that the equipment is
returned to Acumen PC Technology within sixty (60)
days from the date of purchase.
This provision will not apply to virus/spyware
removal or software repairs.
New replacement parts and New Equipment carry unique
manufactures warrantees and are not warranted
independently by Acumen PC Technology. An
additional (1) YEAR WARRANTY may be purchased
for $40.00 or a (2) YEAR WARRANTY may be purchased
for $70.00 from Acumen PC Technology.
Claims for any physical damage to serviced
equipment must be made at the time of pick up.
PAYMENT:
Full payment is expected at the time of service,
delivery or pickup.
Acumen PC Technology accepts Paypal, Visa,
MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card and
Cash.
Checks will be accepted with proper identification.
Standard account terms and conditions apply unless
noted otherwise.
A 1.5% finance fee will be applied monthly for
outstanding balances on invoices.
Personal guarantee: The undersigned will
personally guarantee payment for products and
service as outlined and verified, as well as all
cost associated with collection past due accounts,
if the customer is a corporation, then those signing
this agreement, whether signing as an officer or
not, personally guarantee payment for all items and
services purchased by the corporation.
CONSUMABLES:
Acumen PC Technology requires an operational
consumable (ribbon, ink/toner cartridge) to be in
the printer/plotter so as to test the unit after
service. If the unit has no consumable or the
consumable is inadequate or damaged, Acumen PC
Technology will install an OEM approved consumable
and the customer will be responsible for payment of
the ink or toner cartridge at our standard cost
rate.
